But why is it so popular, and is it actually worth the hype?

Always Pan’s lookalike, the Crofton Awesome Pan, costs just $28.99 at Aldi.
The Aldi Awesome Pan is a nonstick cookware made of aluminum, a fusion Ti coating, and bakelite (a heat-resistant material in the handle). It’s made without PFOA or PTFE, so all that nonstick goodness is safe and healthy. It even features a pouring spout and comes with a lid. And for folks who live for the aesthetic, the pan is available in three colors: matte black, white, and lavender.
The best part? It’s only $28.99. Truly a steal.

The Always Pan Lookalike costs $70 less than the original, even when it’s on sale.
The Always Pan is hailed as a cult favorite in cookware. Just like the Awesome Pan, it’s made with nontoxic, nonstick-coated aluminum and has a spout and lid. Unlike the Awesome Pan, it includes a built-in spoon rest, a spatula, and a mesh strainer. It also comes in seven muted colors.
However, the biggest difference is the price tag. The Always Pan is a whopping $145 at the list price. Though it’s currently on sale for $99, it’s still $70 more than the Awesome Pan.
You can only get the Crofton Awesome Pan at Aldi.
The product is an Aldi exclusive, so you won’t find it at other big-box stores. Luckily, the Awesome Pan is back in stock at Aldi. Since the viral cookware goes fast, you’ll want to hustle to your nearest Aldi.
However, if you can’t get to your local store in time, there are some resellers online that have the pans. But buyer beware — these resellers are charging big time. You can find the cookware at Mercari for $79. That’s 272% more expensive. You can also find it on eBay for $69, a whole 237% upcharge. With that in mind, we recommend just braving the crowds at Aldi.
