There are three types of Sephora gift cards.

Sephora gift cards come in three forms: physical gift cards, eGift cards, and store merchandise credit.

1. SephoraPhysical Gift Card:

   physical gift card with a 16-digit card number and 8-digit PIN

2. eGift Card:

   virtual gift cards with a 16-digit card number and 8-digit PIN

3. Store Merchandise Credit:

   Physical card with a 16-digit card number and no PIN

Sephora and JCPenney are ending their relationship.

Back in 2006, JCPenney signed a deal and made Sephora their exclusive beauty product seller. But in 2022, Sephora decided not to renew their 15-year contract with JCPenney, and began a partnership with Kohl's instead.

Sephora inside JCPenney shops started permanently closing in September 2022 and will continue to close through January 2023. What's that mean? JCPenney and Sephora gift cards are no longer interchangeable. If you still have a balance on your Sephora Inside JCPenney gift card, you can use it on beauty purchases from JCPenney.com for now.

Where can I use my Sephora gift card?

You can use your Sephora gift card to make purchases at any Sephora store or on Sephora.com. You can also use your Sephora gift card at "Sephora at Kohl's" stores, but you won't be able to use it on Kohls.com.

You can no longer use a JCPenney gift card or a Sephora inside JCPenney gift card on purchases from Sephora.com. But, you can use your Sephora inside JCPenney gift card at any remaining Sephora inside JCPenney store locations — or on beauty purchases from JCPenney.com — until further notice.

How long do Sephora gift cards last?

In short, your answer is forever! Sephora gift cards never expire, so you have as long as you want to spend it at Sephora in stores, online, or in the Sephora app. You can also use Sephora gift cards at "Sephora at Kohl's" store locations.

How do I buy Sephora gift cards?

There are three ways you can buy Sephora gift cards:

1. In-Store:

   At any Sephora store or authorized retailer in the U.S. and Canada

2. Online:

   At Sephora.com, in the Sephora app (iOS / Android), or from an authorized online retailer

3. By Phone:

   Call Sephora Customer Service at 1-877-SEPHORA

But just a heads up — you can only buy eGift Cards online.

Of course, you can buy gift cards directly from Sephora, but you can also buy them from authorized stores.
