There haven’t been any official announcements yet about the date of the next Free Shipping Day, but based on what they've done in recent years, we here at KCL predict that it’ll take place Friday, Dec. 13, 2024.
How do we make our prediction?
This event is always in mid-December — and while it typically falls on Dec. 14 each year, that’s a Saturday in 2024. Last year, the Dec. 14 was a Thursday, which makes more sense. We believe the closest regular business day seems more likely. That day is Friday, Dec. 13, 2024.

Yes, this is actually a thing.
Some retailers and brands piggyback on the marketing benefits of “Free Shipping Day,” making you pay a minimum amount to reach the Free Shipping threshold when you buy from them.
In order to find out whether a retailer’s “Free Shipping” is actually free, always read the terms and conditions to see if there’s a minimum spend requirement. In 2023, the Charlotte Russe website flashed free shipping one day only — when you spent $50 (normally $100 minimum spend).
Save the most money at the last minute by shopping clearance online (up to 80% off) in addition to sales.
Really squeeze the most value out of Free Shipping Day by getting clearance items shipped for free.
Look for markdowns of up to 80% off regular prices or items you can’t buy in stores before Christmas.
