Walmart started their holiday season shopping early early in 2024, kicking off their first Holiday Deals event of the season on Oct. 6, 2024, and ending on Oct. 13, 2024. Of course, the Walmart event coincided with Prime Day (Oct. 8 - 9) and Target Circle Week (which ended Oct. 12). While the deals on electronics, clothing, kitchen appliances and toys have ended, you can expect similar deals during Walmart's Black Friday event, when we predict Walmart's Wave 1 of deals will kick off Nov. 13.
And don't worry, starting Oct. 14 and through Dec. 25, Walmart is offering their inflation-free holiday meal in stores and on Walmart.com, which serves up to 10 people and includes 28 dishes — everything from turkey (under $1 per pound) and trimmings to dessert — for a value of less than $7 per person.
While Walmart's Sept. 19 press release didn't state if another Holiday Deals event will return in 2024, it was certainly a sneak peek into the hot deals we can expect as the holidays near. Here's everything we know about the event.

How do we make our prediction?
For the last several years, Walmart has had a sale surrounding the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale in October — starting one day before it and ending one day later.
Given that we predict Amazon will have their next Fall Prime Day sale on the second Tuesday and Wednesday in October (Oct. 14 and 15), we anticipate Walmart will once again start their Deals Holiday Kickoff sale on Monday, Oct. 13, and end on Thursday, Oct. 16.
