Valentine’s Day is such a fun holiday for kids. It creeps up at just the right time after December festivities when we’re itching to get excited for another holiday. There’s candy, school parties, and Valentine’s Day cards from friends and family. We’ve seen lots of Valentine’s Day boxes available to buy, but why not show off your child’s personality with a DIY Valentine’s Day box this year?

Let them choose the theme, or show them the list we have below so they can customize it. The real benefit is you can send your kid to school with their own handmade Valentine’s Day boxes that won’t be the same as all of their classmates.

All of these boxes require six or fewer supplies, and most are found at the dollar store. On average, each of these boxes costs about $5 to make. Maybe even a little less if you take into account the supplies being used to create Valentine’s Day boxes for multiple kids.
