Remember the good old days when you could print a coupon and hold onto it for a whole month until you found a good sale? When it comes to P&G printable coupons, those days are long gone. Once you download those bad boys from the Procter & Gamble website, they expire in just one day.
That means you can’t always save your Procter & Gamble printable coupons for the perfect sale. And you can’t easily use them to stockpile your favorite brands like Tide, Gain, or Dreft. Don’t even get me started on the amazing savings we used to score by combining a hot Target deal with P&G printable coupons!
To avoid more P&G heartbreak (we’re still mourning the loss of the P&G coupon inserts), use these tips so you never let a good coupon go to waste.
Remember that P&G printable coupons expire the day after you print them.
When you print coupons from P&G’s website, you’ll see this fine print: “Please note that upon printing, you will have one day to redeem this coupon.”
Basically, once you hit “print,” the clock starts ticking. You have the rest of that day and all of the following day to use the coupon. That’s it.
The restriction might change your couponing game a bit.
With such a tight timeline for using P&G printable coupons, you’ll need to change your couponing game plan. Keep an eye out for the P&G coupons you want, but hold off on printing until you see a sale.
The catch? If you wait for the perfect sale to stack your Tide coupon with and then go to print it, they might not have any prints left. So you gotta act fast!
TIP: Download The Krazy Coupon Lady app so you get notified about deals on Tide, Gain, Bounce, or other P&G products. When those deals pop up, print your coupons ASAP!
Procter & Gamble has changed their coupon rules a lot lately.
Have you noticed that P&G has made a lot of changes lately with their coupons? At the end of January 2023, they got rid of their coupons in the newspaper inserts, telling us that we can only print them online.
And back in the summer of 2022, they shocked us all by limiting the use of P&G coupons to just two per household per day.
P&G says they do this to crack down on fake coupons. But it’s the honest couponers just trying to save money who might end up getting hurt the most. Bummer, right?
Even with the restrictions, you can still stock up on P&G brands like Tide.
When it comes time to use a P&G coupon, sign someone else in your household up for a P&G account, too (you’ll need their mobile number). That gives you two valid coupons to use, assuming you can print the coupon before it reaches the limit.
Also watch for Target deals that use mobile coupons or promotions like “Spend $50, get a $10 gift card.” If you can stack a coupon with these sales, you’ll always get a better deal. But at least you have options for getting P&G items for less.
