When you think of Black Friday deals, you might immediately picture the main players like Walmart, Target, and Amazon. And of course, they offer some of the best Black Friday deals online and in store.
However, they’re not the only game in town. Many retailers offer Black Friday deals worth your time too, and you may not even realize it. Check out these unexpected (but fantastic) stores, plus other places for Black Friday deals.

Black Friday Deals at Auto Parts Stores
Auto parts stores offer discounts on various products that you usually don't realize you need until you have to replace them. Last year, we spotted two for $10 windshield washer fluids and discounted oil filter and cabin air filter bundles at AutoZone.
But did you know the best Black Friday savings at auto supply stores are on gift cards?
To get the most out of these Black Friday sales, be sure to sign up for each store’s loyalty program.

Free $15 gift card with the purchase of select Sylvania SilverStar twin pack bulbs (last year, the offer was better, as it offered a $25 gift card)

50% off Cricut materials
70% off wreaths
Buy 2 get 1 free ALL yarn
12. Hobby Lobby Black Friday Deals
Our favorite deals from last year included the following:
90% off fall items
40% off wedding
Be careful, though. Some of their discounts look pretty steep but are actually offered by Hobby Lobby year-round. You can get 50% off frames literally all the time. You can get 50% off home decor and floral items every other week, and jewelry-making items are on sale for 50% off every three weeks.
KCL TIP: Check out the Hobby Lobby sale schedule to see if that Black Friday “deal” is actually a good one.
Black Friday Deals at Clothing Stores
Target and Old Navy Black Friday sales tend to be favorites, but don’t discount these online retailers that can definitely hang with the big dogs and offer astonishingly low prices.
13. Burlington Coat Factory Deals
On Nov. 13 last year, Burlington Stores kicked off the holiday season with their Burlington Coat Event in partnership with Delivering Good. Through Thanksgiving Weekend, Burlington customers who purchased a coat in store received 10% off their entire purchase redeemable at any Burlington location from Dec. 1 - 15, 2023.
14. Shein Black Friday Deals
For anyone who doesn’t already know, Shein is an international online retailer that has quickly become one of the hottest — and most controversial — apparel stores around.
Shein is known for their year-round sales, with prices slashed as much as 85%, offering up shirts for $2 and accessories for just $1. This doesn’t mean they skimp on Black Friday deals, though. In 2023, we saw these discounts:
$0.01 Flash Sale
Free shipping
90% off discounts
KCL TIP: Join the Shein email list to get access to deals at least 24 hours in advance. (Scroll to the bottom of the home page to see the sign up area.)
Black Friday Deals at Amusement Parks
15. Disney World and Disneyland Black Friday Deals
I’ve been tracking Black Friday since 2009, and I’ve never seen a sale like the one offered last year at Disney World and Disneyland: 50% off kids' tickets at Disney World and $50 kids' tickets at Disneyland.
While the biggest bummer was that blackout dates included traditional spring break times, this offer was for select dates from March 3 – June 30, 2024, and offered pretty good savings.
For a family of four, on vacation from June 17 – 21, a standard room at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan rang up at $4,121.36 without the Play & Dine discount. With the Play & Dine discount, the total dropped to $3,146.26, a 24% discount.
16. Six Flags Black Friday Deals
Last year, you could save with their Black Friday Flash Sale: buy a 2024 season pass and visit Six Flags for as low as $5 a month, plus save 55% on Season Pass Add-Ons.
17. Sky Zone Black Friday Deals
If your kid loves Sky Zone and went six times in the last year, you might want to consider the annual pass, which went on sale last Black Friday for $180 (down from $220). The Annual Pass for 2024 got you 90 minutes of jump time every day through December 31, 2024.
Considering that 90-minute tickets are $29.99, this pass would pay for itself if you went six times in one year.
Bonus: Local Black Friday Deals
Also check your email for some surprising Black Friday savings. For example, my local pool club offers the biggest savings of the year to join, but only on Black Friday. If you're in the market for anything a local store sells or a membership to a local group, sign up for their email list so you can stay in the loop.
Offers will depend on where you live, but here are some ideas:
Museum memberships
Local restaurants (for gift card discounts)
Zoo memberships
Local gym memberships
Local art and painting studios (look for discounted gift packages)
