Keep in mind T.J.Maxx does add new markdowns throughout the events, and prices continue to fall. However if you see something you absolutely love with a modest red tag (clearance but not a rock bottom price), grab it. Because it may not stick around for a reduced yellow tag.

What to Know Before You Shop T.J.Maxx Clearance
You only have five or so weeks to shop the clearance sale.
If there’s one thing to understand about this sale, it’s that the deals don’t last long. Clearance is on as of June 18, 2024, and will run through the end of July.
However, you only have roughly two weeks to shop the winter event. In Jan. 2024 we saw clearance from Jan. 1 - 16.
Find 75% off deals online or in stores — but don’t count on similar inventory.

But if you’re shopping in store, don’t expect to see any percent-off signs posted on the racks advertising the sale. Instead, just look for the red and yellow clearance tags on merchandise throughout the store.
So what do the red and yellow price tags mean at T.J.Maxx? The red tags indicate a clearance price, while the yellow tags indicate a final clearance price — meaning that it’s the lowest price you’ll see for that item at T.J.Maxx.
