We used to Know Home Depot’s Presidents Day Sale as the best time to buy Home Depot appliances. But in recent years, the sale has been smaller and more focused on bathroom savings than anything else. Even so, you’ll still find several Home Depot deals on laundry appliances, tools, floorcare, and storage that are worth your while.

In 2025, Presidents Day falls on Monday, Feb. 24. KCL predicts the Home Depot sale will start on Thursday, February 6, and run through Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025. Home Depot stores are typically open on Presidents Day during normal business hours (6 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time). However, almost all their deals are available online during the sale.

Home Depot’s Presidents Day Sale is a once-a-year, three-week event with discounts on bathroom items and storage.

Throughout the month of February, the three-week Presidents Day Sale at Home Depot has discounts across a few different departments. Look for up to 40% savings on bathroom hardware, vanities, and tubs, plus up to 30% off floorcare and discounts on HDX storage.

Home Depot hasn’t officially announced the next date for their Presidents Day Sale, but based on what they've done in recent years, we here at KCL predict that it’ll take place from Thursday, Feb. 6, until Wednesday, Feb. 26. 2025.

How do we make our prediction?

Home Depot used to be nearly a month long, but as of 2023, it was trimmed to three weeks. Now, there’s a strong case that it would start the Thursday before Presidents Day like last year — which would be Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025 — but we think Home Depot will keep this sale within the month of February like the have the last couple of years.

Home Depot Presidents Day 2025: What to Expect

Up to 40% off Bathroom items

In recent years, Home Depot’s Presidents Day Sale has been all about bathroom savings. They now consider it their “biggest bath event of the year,” with faucets, tubs, vanities, toilets, and more for up to 40% off.

Up to 30% off Floorcare

Last year, Home Depot had a handful of vacuums for up to 30% off during their Presidents Day Sale. Some of the on-sale items included a Ridgid Wet/Dry vacuum for $79.98 and a Hoover carpet cleaner for $159.

Low Prices on HDX storage totes and shelves

Some of the best items to buy during Home Depot Presidents Day sales are HDX storage totes and shelving. HDX is Home Depot's own brand, and their storage totes and shelves come in a variety of sizes and strengths.

You generally won't see more than 20% off these items. But compared to similar items from competing brands, Home Depot's discounts are hard to beat.
