So, when is the next Squishmallow drop at Five Below? Unfortunately, Five Below doesn't have an official drop schedule, but we've found that they drop new Squishmallows on Sunday mornings, albeit not every Sunday morning.
The good news is new the Summer Squad Squishmallows dropped on Sunday, May 26. If you’re constantly hunting for collectible rare Squishmallows, these Five Below Squishmallow drops are a must-shop.
And if you’re not familiar with Five Below, let me introduce you. They’re like a trendier dollar store that sells affordable gifts, most priced at $5 or less. Many of the items sold by Five Below cost less than $5, but some cost more, including Squishmallows, which tend to sell for around $5.95.

How many Squishmallows were in the Dec. 17, 2023 drop?
It was all about Sea Life and Fan Favorites on Sunday, Dec. 17. Fan Favorites included Illia the Sriracha Bottle, Mannon the Gouda Cheese, and Daley the Takeout Noodles.
In Dec. 2023, an earlier drop included Harry Potter, Fuzzy Belly, and OG squads.
The drop on Dec. 10, 2023 included eight OGs, four Harry Potter characters, and eight members of the Fuzzy Belly squad. Naturally the four Harry Potter Squishes represent the mascots for each Hogwarts house: Gryffindor Lion, Ravenclaw Raven, Slytherin Snake, and Hufflepuff Badger.
The Nov. 26 drop featured Winter Squad and Holiday Stitch Squishmallows.
If it felt like this Five Below Squishmallow drop came hot on the heels of the Black Friday release, that’s because it did…just two days later. These included 9 Winter Squad Squishmallows (7.5-inches) and four Holiday Stitch Squishmallows (6.5 inches). Each of these retails for $5.95 and are available now, both in stores and online.
The Black Friday Squishmallow drop featured the Christmas Squad, a collection of 4.5-inch minis.
If you’re reading this, you probably know that Five Below typically does their Squishmallow drops on Sundays. But as a treat for Black Friday, they’re doing a special Squish drop featuring six members of their Christmas Squad on Nov. 24. These are the 4.5-inch mini Squishmallows that retail for $5 each. They’ll be available both in-store and online. There’s a Santa and a Glass of Milk for him, too. Plus a penguin, cat, axolotl, and reindeer.
On Nov 18, Five Below released holiday Hello Kitty Squishmallows and a slew of new Cottagecore Squish.
Brace yourself for more Hello Kitty & Friends Squishmallows at Five Below in the form of Gingerbread Hello Kitty and Elf Cinnamoroll just in time for the holidays. They’re available now, as of Sunday. Nov. 19.

When do Five Below stores get new Squishmallows?
Five Below gets new Squishmallows on many Sundays (yes, their weekly hours include Sundays!). The website makes the new ones available at 5 a.m. ET, and stores will have them starting at 10 a.m. when doors open.
In addition to the Sunday drops, they also do a special drop around Black Friday.

How much are the Squishmallows at Five Below?
You can find Squishmallows in the form of small- and medium-sized plushes, Squishmallows headphones, trading cards, and mystery blind bags.
The 6.5-inch to 7.5-inch Five Below Squishmallows are regularly priced at $5.95. The 4.5-inch Five Below Squishmallows are $5. This price is pretty consistent with other retailers who sell Squishmallows.
The trading card surprise packs are $4 at Five Below, while the mystery blind bags range from $3.25 to $5.

When does the Five Below Squishmallow restock happen?
As with all releases of Squishmallows, once they’re gone, they don’t come back! Five Below never restocks any new releases. If you have your eye on a particular Squishmallow, snag it online if you can, or head to the store early.
TIP: Once you start your Squishmallow collection, you’re going to want to know how to wash Squishmallows (it’s easy!).
Are certain Squishmallows only sold at Five Below?
Yes, certain Squishmallows are exclusive to Five Below. Sometimes it’s just a certain character size that’s exclusive to Five Below.
But sometimes it’s a whole new character appearing for the first time exclusively at Five Below, like with Hera the Cheetah, who you could find first only at Five Below. When this happens, the bio tags even get a special indicator on them.
Which Squishmallows did Five Below release on Sept. 24, 2023?
On Sept. 24, Five Below released 15 new Halloween Squishmallows in the 4.5-inch size for $5 each (that’s $0.50 more than they used to charge for the 4.5-inch size).
This release included rare Squishmallows like Otto the Grim Reaper, Alva the Coffin, and more.
