Wayfair Black Friday is a several-weeklong event with rotating weekly deals on furniture and decor.
During the Wayfair Black Friday sale, the online retailer takes up to 80% off hundreds of items like accent cabinets, sectional sofas, desks, outdoor furniture sets, fire pits, sideboards, media consoles, and Christmas trees. This puts the savings on par with its semi-annual Way Day sale.
Similar to Amazon Prime Day and Ulta 21 Days of Beauty, Wayfair Black Friday features daily deals that change throughout the sale (every week last year). Find something you want? Act fast; some of the deals are live for one day only.

This is the first Wayfair Black Friday with a rewards program — you can get 5% back.
Wayfair introduced Wayfair Rewards in October 2024, and it adds another layer to Black Friday. The program costs $29 per year, and it's worth considering for Black Friday because it gets you an extra 5% back in rewards on top of the Black Friday deals. Whether this is worth it to you depends on how much you spend. You'll need to spend $580 to earn back the $29 annual fee. But if you plan on making a big shopping trip during Black Friday, you could end up spending at least that.
KCL TIP: Since launching its rewards program, Wayfair has been offering bonus points on certain days (up to 10% back). Keep an eye out for these types of promos during its Black Friday sale.
Look for deals and price matches at Wayfair’s sister sites.
Wayfair’s sister sites Joss & Main, Birch Lane, and AllModern have sales running at the same time. While each site has its own brand, they all fall under the Wayfair company umbrella. You’ll often see the same products listed on multiple sites, but you won’t always see the same prices. Check for the same items (likely under different names) at lower prices across all four sites before you check out. And take a look at the coupon codes you can use at the other brands in the Wayfair family.

Expect the Wayfair Cyber Monday sale to start Dec. 2.
Last year, Wayfair started its Cyber Monday sale on actual Cyber Monday, unlike other retailers that run Cyber Monday sales the entire weekend. We always watch for deals that hit over 80% off in this sale, and last year, that included area rugs. You can also find a good range of items for 65% to 70% off (including bedroom furniture, living room seating, and mattresses last year). In 2023, Wayfair also offered limited-time Cyber Monday flash sales, similar to Amazon's Lightning Deals. We spotted select bed frames for up to 74% off.
That's not to say you should skip Wayfair Black Friday and shop only on Cyber Monday. Both sales will offer nearly identical deals, based on past years. We suggest looking for items on your list during Wayfair's Black Friday sale. Then use Cyber Monday as a chance to get anything you missed, especially if you were too busy shopping other Black Friday sales.
If you're not in a hurry, consider waiting for the Way Day sale in the spring.
To be perfectly honest, all of Wayfair's big sales are pretty similar. But if we had to choose, Wayfair Way Day is actually a slightly better sale. This 3-day event happens twice per year — in April and October. And while Black Friday offers up to 80% off certain items, Way Day tends to offer 80% off a wider selection. In our experience, it really is Wayfair's biggest event.
That said, it depends what you're shopping for. You're not going to find huge discounts on artificial Christmas trees and holiday decor during the next Way Day in the spring. So if you need something for this holiday season, Wayfair Black Friday is your best bet.
