As a KCL team member, I am constantly looking for deals and ways to save money on food and groceries. On top of that, I'm a mom. So recipes I make need to be affordable and easy. My favorite cooking tip that saves me a ton of time is to always keep a few jars of gravy in my pantry. I use gravy for much more than topping potatoes. It's a great flavor addition to soups and stews and it's essentially a pre-made sauce for recipes like pot pies or pasta.
Whenever I can, I stock up on Heinz HomeStyle Gravy, especially if I can find it for under $2.50 per jar. And right now is a great time to stock up. Shop the Mega Sale at Kroger through March 26 and get these jars for just $1.99 apiece when you buy six. That'll be enough to make six of the recipes I share below. And to show you just how versatile this ingredient is — and why you need it in your pantry, too — I've got nine quick and easy recipes for you. Yes, nine of them. If you make enough for leftovers, that's nearly two weeks of food for your fam.
