The Ozark Trail tumbler is the most recent addition to the tumbler craze. After the Stanley Adventure Quencher Tumbler took the Internet by storm, other drinkware brands started designing their own similarly styled cups. And now shoppers can get in on the trend without spending nearly as much by hitting up their local Walmart. So how does the Ozark Trail tumbler stack up to other options in the drinkware market?

Well, I’m here to quench your thirst for knowledge by doing a deep dive into both the Ozark Trail and Stanley Cup tumblers. I’ll be comparing popular features, aesthetics, and of course, price.

The Ozark Trail Tumbler is 66% cheaper than the Stanley Tumbler.

It’s no secret that the Stanley Adventure Quencher is hard to come by. More popular colors and styles sell out quickly, and unfortunately, they’re not exactly cheap. Even if you do manage to get your hands on one of the highly coveted tumblers, you’ll pay about $45 per cup.

However, the Ozark Trail alternative is more than $30 cheaper. That’s a 66% savings by opting for the Walmart alternative. You could easily purchase three Ozark Trail cups for the same price as one Stanley Tumbler. Let that sink in for a moment.

To find the Ozark Trail option in-store, head to the camping section and look for the coolers. You’ll find them right next to the coolers. At my local Walmart, the camping section was all the way at the back of the store. Walmart also has other tumbler options displayed at the front of the store for summer, but you’ll have a much better chance of finding Ozark Tumblers in the camping section.

But how does the Walmart option compare to Stanley drinkware in terms of features?

The Ozark Trail Tumbler has many of the same features as the Stanley version.

At first glance, the two products are indeed comparable. Both have a 40-ounce capacity paired with a smaller base that fits into most cup holders. Plus both options are made of vacuum-insulated stainless steel for optimum temperature regulation. They’re both designed to be dishwasher-safe, BPA-free, and have a lifetime warranty.

But the two products do have their differences. The Ozark Trail tumbler currently only has five color options, compared to Stanley’s ever-expanding palette of well over 30 colors. Additionally, the Stanley tumbler boasts being able to keep drinks hot for up to seven hours, cold for up to 11 hours, and hold ice for two days. By contrast, the Ozark Trail cup keeps drinks hot for up to six hours and cold for up to 25 hours. So while both offer robust temperature regulation, you should consider your drink temperature preferences when choosing which is best for you.
