The Museums for All program makes museum access more affordable for people receiving SNAP benefits.
Museums for All is a nationwide access program that makes it super easy for folks who receive SNAP benefits (food assistance) to get free or discounted admission to over 1,200 museums across the United States. All you have to do is show your SNAP EBT card, and you're good to go.
The program aims to encourage people from all walks of life to visit museums regularly and develop a lifelong love for them. And the best part is, any type of museum can participate! Whether it's art, history, natural history, children's museums, science centers, zoos, you name it — they're all part of this program.
Since its launch in 2014, Museums for All has welcomed over 8 million visitors from all over the country at more than 1,200 museums in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and even the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Admission prices range from free to $3.
With your SNAP benefits, admission to participating museums is never over $3 per person. In some cases it's free admission. These free or discounted tickets won't get you access to special exhibits or events. They're only for general admission tickets.
Museums across the nation have joined this program to allow people of all backgrounds to experience and enjoy what they have to offer.
You'll need an EBT card and photo ID.
To snag your Museums for All tickets, you'll need to present a photo ID and your active EBT card at the admission gate at a participating museum. If you'd like to purchase tickets prior to your visit, we recommend checking out the museum's website for more information. Some venues allow you to purchase Museums for All tickets directly online, while others require you to order by phone or send an email. We found it easiest to do a Google search for "the name of the museum + museums for all" and detailed information will easily pop up.
However you purchase tickets, just be sure to have your EBT card and photo ID ready when you arrive at the museum.
You can get up to four discounted admission tickets.
This special rate applies to up to four people per card and is available during regular operating hours, with no blackout dates. The four individuals do not need to be family or related, but the person buying the discounted tickets must be an adult with a valid EBT card and photo ID. Keep in mind the discounted rate applies to each ticket. So, for a group of four at a $3 ticket, it's a total of $12.
Visit museums, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, and more.
Don't let the name fool you! Museums for All offers special rates for children's museums, zoos, aquariums, science centers, arboretums, and more. Visit Museums4All.org for a list of participating venues.
