We’d all like to get back to normal life, and experts agree that the Covid-19 vaccine is the way to get there. A number of companies are providing incentives for people to get vaccinated.

Krispy Kreme will give vaccinated customers 2 free donuts Aug. 30-Sept. 5, 2021.
Krispy Kreme has doubled-down on their free donuts for people who’ve been vaccinated. Every day Aug. 30-Sept. 5, 2021, they’re giving you an original glazed donut plus a special heart-shaped donut as a thanks for getting vaccinated. Come back each day!
But after that, you can still get a free glazed donut every day through Dec. 31. Just bring your Covid-19 vaccine card.
This offer excludes Mini Doughnuts. There’s a limit of one free doughnut per guest per day. It’s only available when you visit in-person.
Walgreens is giving $25 to customers who get vaccinated.
You read that right. When you get vaccinated at Walgreens, they’ll give you $25 in store credit. If you’re a myWalgreens member, you’ll get $25 in coveted Walgreens Cash — which spends like money in-store at Walgreens. Learn all about Walgreens Cash and how it helps with couponing at Walgreens.
If you don’t have myWalgreens, they’ll still give you a $25 Walgreens gift card. Parents of teens and tweens (ages 12-15) also get the $25 on behalf of their minor children.
Target is giving customers $5 when they get vaccinated.
More than 1,600 Target stores have a CVS Pharmacy tucked inside, and anybody who gets their Covid-19 vaccine there will receive a $5 Target coupon after they’re fully vaxxed.
Drop Rewards is giving vaccinated customers $50 to spend at their favorite stores.
Online rewards program Drop is giving new and existing users a $50 credit when they post a vaccination selfie on Instagram that contains the hashtag #DropCovid and @joindrop. Drop credits can be redeemed for gift cards at places like Amazon, Netflix, and Starbucks.
Office Depot & Office Max will laminate your vaccine card for free.
Office Depot/Office Max will copy your Covid-19 vaccine card and laminate it for you — free of charge. Just take it to any of their locations through July 25.
The following companies have introduced incentives for their employees to receive a Covid-19 vaccine:
ALDI coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: All U.S. employees
What: Two hours of pay for each dose of the vaccine received (up to 4 hours) and ALDI is covering administrative costs of the shot; salaried workers will receive flexible hours to accommodate vaccinations
Amtrak coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: All employees
What: Two hours of regular wages once they can show proof of vaccination, plus excused absences for employees who need to recover from any side effects within 48 hours of receiving the vaccine
Best Buy Covid-19 vaccine benefit
Who: All employees
What: Vaccinated employees providing proof of vaccination by July 22 are entered to win one of 21 $5,000 prizes; every vaccinated employee gets paid time off (4 hours for part-time, 8 hours for full-time)
Chobani coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: All 2,200 plant, warehouse, and delivery workers
What: Up to 6 hours of paid time off for vaccination
Darden Restaurants coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: All employees of Darden chains, including Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, Yard House, The Capital Grille, Seasons 52, Bahama Breeze, and Eddie V’s
What: Two hours of pay for each dose of the vaccine they receive (up to 4 hours total) — calculated based on the average 13-week earnings of base pay plus tips

Who: Store employees
What: 4 hours pay after receiving the second shot; salaried workers will receive flexible hours to accommodate vaccinations
Instacart coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: Instacart shift leads, in-store shoppers, and full-service shoppers
What: Covid-19 Vaccine Stipend of $25 per vaccine dose
Kroger coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: All employees across all Kroger Companies
What: A $100 bonus with proof of vaccination (employees who can’t get the COVID-19 vaccination for medical or religious reasons can earn the $100 bonus by completing an educational course)
Also: Kroger has announced that it will be giving all of its essential and frontline workers an additional $100 store credit and 1,000 fuel points for use at their Fuel Centers
Lidl coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: All U.S. employees
What: $200 bonus after receiving the vaccine; employees may request schedule flexibility to go to a vaccination appointment
McDonald’s coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: Employees at McDonald’s corporate headquarters as well as their corporately-owned restaurants
What: Up to four hours paid time off to get vaccinated
Publix coronavirus benefit
Who: Store employees
What: A $125 Publix gift card with proof of vaccination
Southwest coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: All employees
What: Free vaccines, with employee health plans covering admin fees
Target coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: Store employees
What: Up to 4 hours of pay for vaccination, plus travel reimbursements for up to $15 each way for employees who take Lyft to their vaccination appointments; also, Target has promised “free and accessible” vaccines, with many taking place on site at the 1,700+ locations with embedded CVS mini-stores
Trader Joe’s coronavirus vaccine benefit
Who: Store employees
What: Four hours of pay or paid time off, once the employee has received both doses of vaccine; they’ll also let workers adjust their schedules to accommodate vaccine appointments
