Something strange is afoot at the Circle K… and that is the Circle K drink subscription program, which charges a flat monthly rate for customers to get one beverage every day. If getting a coffee or a Polar Pop is a habit of yours, you’re gonna want to pay attention.
Rather than pay per drink, Circle K has joined the likes of the Panera Unlimited Sip Club in inviting people to subscribe to a beverage program. But unlike that program, Circle K is including a bunch of non-coffee options in their drink plan.
Plus, right now, Circle K is offering coupons that’ll get you freebies on your next purchase. We’ll show you how to find these coupons that you can use at your local Circle K.
Here’s what you need to know:
Grab a Circle K coupon before heading out to get freebies and discounts.
Circle K is currently running a promotion where you can grab freebies on your next visit. These coupons can be found on the Circle K coupons page and can include freebies like a Snickers bar, sunflower seeds, M&M’s, and more. Each coupon can be used once and have an expiration date of the freebies and deals.
All you need to do is pick the coupon you want to use and add in your phone number. The coupon will be sent to your phone.
Circle K’s drink subscription costs $9.99/month.
The “Sip & Save” program comes with one free coffee, tea, slushy or Polar Pop fountain drink every day. The most popular Polar Pop, the 42-oz XL, costs $1.09, so you could, in theory, get $32.70 worth of Polar Pops per month for just $10.
You can sign up at one of the roughly 7,000 Circle K locations, but it’s easier to just join the Sip & Save club online.
You only have to get 5 coffees or teas for the subscription to pay for itself.
At Circle K, a 24-oz X-Large coffee or tea costs $2.09, so by the time you get five of them with the Sip & Save program, you’ve covered the $10/month cost.
Extra-large Froster slushies — which are up to $2 each — are included in the Sip & Save subscription.
One of the best aspects of the Sip & Save program is that you can change up which kind of drink you’ll get each day.
The Slurpee-like Froster slushies are part of the program, so Circle K customers can make back the price of their subscription with just five extra-large Froster slushies (regularly $1.99 apiece).
It takes 10 sodas per month to cover the Sip & Save subscription.
Since Circle K Polar Pop fountain drinks cost $0.99 each for a medium (20 oz) or large (30 oz), and $1.09 for an XL (42 oz), you’ll have to get more of them to cover the $10/month subscription.
But picking up a fountain drink 2-3 times a week isn’t going to be difficult for a lot of people.
Bring your own cup or ask for a water cup to share large beverages.
You can only get one “free” beverage per day with the Sip & Save program, but that doesn’t mean you can’t share these large beverages.
Ask for a water cup at Circle K, or have your buddy bring their own (a Stanley Adventure Quencher Cup, perhaps?) to split these large drinks with someone else after you check out.
Want more than one drink a day? Try Panera.
Panera’s Unlimited Sip Club program lets you get one coffee, soda, charged lemonade, or tea every 2 hours. The price is $11.99/month, so it’s 20% more expensive than Circle K’s program, but if you’re in need of a steady stream of caffeine all day, this is your best bet.
