How to use Ulta coupons

One of the things that separates Ulta vs. Sephora is the way in which Ulta embraces coupons. But how easy are these coupons to use? Extremely easy.

Add a coupon code to your Ulta.com order.

If you're shopping online at Ulta.com, adding a coupon code at checkout is simple. Here's what to do:

1. Click on the shopping bag icon on the upper left hand side of the screen.

2. On the Order Summary page, scroll below the 'Checkout' button on the right side to the 'Add a Coupon' box.

3. Click on the + sign and input your coupon code.

4. Hit "Apply" and, assuming the products in your cart are coupon eligible, the corresponding amount will be deducted from your total.

Note that only one coupon may be used per order.

Use a coupon at checkout in store.

There are a couple of different ways to use a coupon when shopping Ulta IRL:

1. If you have the Ulta app on your phone, open it at checkout and show the cashier the coupon bar code.

2. Head to Ulta.com on your phone and click on 'Sale" from the menu that runs along the top of the page. Then, from the "Sale" dropdown menu, click on "Coupons." This will take you to the available coupons, and the cashier can scan the bar code from there.
