It’s November, and Target’s Halloween clearance is officially here. Whether you’re looking to stash decor for next year or just love a great deal, now’s the perfect time to score spooky savings. Target's shelves are loaded with Halloween candy baskets, skeletons, bats, jack-o-lanterns, and all things frightful — many items marked down up to 90% off.
Head to Target.com or check the Target app for tons of Halloween finds under $25, with some starting at just $5. And when you pay with your Target Circle Card, you’ll save an extra 5% on your Halloween purchases.
Keep an eye out for Target Circle offers and Halloween deals through the spooky season. Also, download The Krazy Coupon Lady app to keep up with all the best Target deals.
Target Halloween clearance deals on decor and candy:
Target Halloween clearance is 90% off in stores right now. Stop by your local Target to check out your store’s selection.
Target Halloween decor starts popping up in stores in late August.
During the last week of August 2024, Target rolled out full Halloween decor displays in stores. Shelves were filled with glass pumpkins, fall candles, spooky party supplies, and so much more.
Start looking for Target Halloween deals around mid-September.
Target usually runs Halloween deals for about a month, from mid-September to mid-October. This is when we’ve seen Target Circle offers for 20% off costumes, 15% off Halloween cookie kits, and 10% off Halloween pet costumes and treats.
In early October, keep your eyes peeled for 30% off Halloween candy and 30% off costumes. These deals won’t necessarily come through Target Circle — they may just be sale prices.
Target also likes to sprinkle in a few BOGO deals on Halloween candy and costumes, which brings me to my next point…
Need multiple costumes or bags of candy? Wait for a BOGO deal to bundle and save.
Target Circle offers aren’t the only Halloween savings you’ll find at Target this year. They usually drop a few BOGO deals on Halloween costumes and candy, too. Again, the prime time to shop deals like these is in mid-September and into early October. That’s when you’ll find deals like Buy One Get One 50% off costumes, accessories, and makeup, or Buy One Get One 25% off select Halloween candy.
Target deals like these are super handy if you’re buying multiple kids costumes, or if you’re expecting a huge turnout for trick-or-treaters this year.
Pay for Halloween decor with your Circle Card to save an extra 5%.
It always pays to be a Target Circle Card member, especially when you’re stocking up on spooky skeletons, strobe lights, and more decor for Halloween.
When you pay with your Circle Card, you’ll save an extra 5% on your entire Halloween purchase. It’s free to sign up for a Circle Card, and you can choose between a credit card, debit card, or a reloadable account. It’s an easy way to score extra savings you can’t get anywhere else but Target!
Spend at least $35 online to get free shipping (unless you’re a Circle Card member).
As you add all your Halloween decor to your online cart, keep in mind that you’ll have to spend at least $35 to qualify for free shipping. This is always the free shipping minimum for Target.com purchases. However, if you’re a Circle Card member, you get free shipping on all online purchases.
Don’t forget — you can also take advantage of Target Drive Up and Pick Up options for free.
Target gives you 365 days to return Halloween decor from their own brands.
The Target return policy is a huge help for Halloween shopping, especially if you buy items from Target’s own brand: Hyde & Eek! Boutique.
Target’s standard return window is 90 days (or 120 days for Circle Card members). But for Target-owned brands, you have 365 days to return those items.
Just be sure to hold onto your receipts, or make your purchase through your Target Circle account so it tracks your order history.
Shop the Target Halloween clearance for up to 70% off costumes and decor for next year.
I know — the last thing you want to do as the trick-or-treat holiday wraps up is shop for more Halloween goodies. But a Target holiday clearance is hard to pass up, and you’ll score deep discounts on spooky supplies for next year. I’m talking $3 tabletop decor and throw pillows, $4 kids Halloween pajamas and tees, and outdoor Halloween decor for as low as $5.
Because Target jumps right into Black Friday, they usually begin their Halloween clearance about a week before October 31, with discounts starting at 30% off. You can expect the Halloween clearance to hit 50% off the day after Halloween, then 70% off about 3 – 4 days after that.
