Current PetSmart Grooming Coupon Offers & Deals:
Some of these coupons are specific to their grooming services, but they also offer monthly discounts on other services like pet boarding at the PetsHotel and Doggy Day Camp. Plus they have occasional flash deals on some services, like $10 – $15 off private training.
10% Off Military and Senior Discount (Tuesdays only)
All active, retired, or former members of the military will get 10% off grooming services by presenting a valid military ID. Likewise, anyone 65+ (with a valid ID) will also receive 10% off.
To clarify: This applies to senior humans with a pet — not senior pets!
Our Best Tips For Saving Money on PetSmart Grooming:
1. PetSmart’s grooming prices are already lower than Petco’s — by up to 30%.
Depending on the size of your pup, you can save $9 – $25 per grooming appointment just by choosing PetSmart over Petco. But there’s no reason to pay full price for a bath and brush with PetSmart. With a PetSmart coupon, you can save up to 40% on grooming services. We’ll get into that next.
TIP: To get the best pet coupons and deals sent right to your phone, download The Krazy Coupon Lady app.
2. Knock even more off the price with a monthly PetSmart grooming coupon.
PetSmart changes their coupons every month, but there’s no reason not to take full advantage of them if your pup requires frequent grooming. Sometimes they also have bonus offers, like military discounts, you can stack on top of the monthly deal.
You can find all the current PetSmart grooming coupons on their Monthly Services Offers page.
3. If you’re a new customer, you’ll get 20% off your first grooming service.
If you’ve never booked an appointment at PetSmart before, you’ll get 20% off your first service. That means a bath and brush service (regularly $31) is just $24.80.
To get the coupon, download the PetSmart app (iOS / Android) or create a new Treats account online. It’s not clearly specified whether you can stack this discount on top of the monthly discount offers (it seems to vary by location), so call ahead to confirm whether your local store will let you.
4. Coupons vary from discounted service add-ons to a set dollar-off amount.
It’s common to find PetSmart coupons for freebies or bonus add-ons, but you can also find coupons good for a percent or dollar amount off your grooming purchase.
And sometimes the add-ons are actually worth more than 10% – 20% off! For example, the April 2023 add-ons included a free dog cookie (retails for $6.99), a free spring bandana (retails for $9.99), and a coupon book with $200 worth of additional savings.

5. PetSmart’s rewards program (Treats) is definitely worth joining for the coupons.
Their loyalty program is called PetSmart Treats, and Treats members can earn points for all purchases, including grooming. You’ll earn points for making in-store and online purchases, as well as services at the Grooming Salon, PetsHotel, Doggie Day Camp, or dog training program. Earn eight points for every $1 spent, and redeem them for free products and services (1,000 points will get you a $2.50 coupon).
They don’t have a punch card method or “get the fifth grooming free” offers at PetSmart, but Treats members can get a free Doggie Day Camp session with the purchase of 10 sessions.
TIP: As a comparison, every eighth grooming session is free with Petco Rewards.
6. Treats members also get access to exclusive coupons for up to 30% off.
While anyone can use the monthly deal coupons they post on their website, only PetSmart rewards members will receive extra offers via email. By signing up for your free account, you’ll receive a welcome offer for 20% off your first grooming service. You can also earn free bonus points by completing your online profile, which is basically free money you can redeem later on.
Once you’re signed up, you’ll receive exclusive offers, coupons, and bonus points from PetSmart via email.
As a Treats member, I’ve gotten emails with a grooming coupon good for $15 off a Bath & Brush or Full Trim Haircut, or 30% off a Bath & Brush or Trim & Full Haircut.
TIP: Another way to snag a PetSmart grooming coupon is to join Facebook groups or social media pages dedicated to pet services in your area. Individual PetSmart locations sometimes have their own deals and promo events, so this is an easy way to stay in the know.
