Loki season two officially drops Oct. 8 on Disney Plus. To pump us up for the release, McDonald’s is collaborating with Disney on a new, Loki-inspired sauce that will be available today, Aug. 14. Spoilers: one of the Loki variants is rumored to be working at McDonald’s, hence the collaboration.
Just like the BTS, Rick and Morty, and Saweetie collabs, this new Loki sauce is only available for a limited time.

McDonald’s is releasing an ‘As Featured In Meal’ starting today, Aug. 14.
To celebrate the upcoming release of season two of Loki, McDonald’s is releasing the “As Featured In Meal” which takes McDonald’s meals from iconic shows and movies in a convenient combo meal. You’ll have your choice between a 10-Piece Chicken McNugget, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, or a Big Mac with Medium Fries, Medium Drink, and the new Sweet and Sour Sauce label. Here’s how much each meal will cost:
- As Featured In Big Mac Meal: $9.29
- As Featured in Quarter Pounder with Cheese Meal: $8.99
- As Featured In 10-Piece McNugget Meal: $9.19
McDonald’s Loki Sauce is their Sweet and Sour Sauce rebranded.
Exactly like the Saweetie Sauce that we saw in Aug. 2021, the McDonald’s Loki Sauce is their Sweet and Sour Sauce with a new label. McDonald’s employees have taken to TikTok to post videos of them holding the new condiment.
Each label is a different shade of green compared to the original packaging, and it has “As Featured In Marvel Studios Loki” on the front. When you scan the label with Snapchat, you’ll unlock a virtual experience from Marvel Studios with new content unlocking every week.
Based on the previous releases, we can expect to see a meal come out in conjunction with the rebranded sauce. However, McDonald’s has not released information on an upcoming meal yet.

Expect the Loki Sauce to be available until Oct. 2023.
McDonald’s has not officially announced when they will stop this promotion, but their collaborations tend to last a month and a half. We can expect to see the Loki Sauce until around October, unless they run out of supplies before then.
