If you weren’t one of the fanatics looking for Skelly the Skeleton in July, don’t worry about it. There was still plenty of spooky decor out there for celebrating. For craft enthusiasts, there was quite a selection of Joann Halloween decor and crafting supplies. One of the best reasons to shop at Joann for Halloween was not only were there frequent coupon codes, but once their Halloween items arrived, the prices remained low throughout September and October. In fact, their prices dropped again before Halloween. I’m talking about up to and over 50% off. Here are some of their best Halloween deals from 2023:

Ways to Save on Your Joann Halloween Cart

Joann constantly has coupon codes in rotation and the Halloween season was no different. Some of the best 2023 Halloween deals were $0.99 shipping and 40% off regular-priced items. The good news is that discounts pop up weekly, so you can save even when it’s not a holiday.

Joann’s Halloween products range from crafts to baking items

You could really cover a lot of ground at Joann if you’re really looking to make your house look the spookiest on the street. They actually break down their Halloween decor into 11 different categories, including both indoor and outdoor decorations, Halloween crafting supplies, and costume patterns (if ya wanna go old school and DIY your ‘fit). Plus they had categories for pumpkins, baking, floral, skeleton, accessories, and decoration themes. You could legit cover every inch of your home (and your neighbor’s) at this place.

Thinking of shopping at competitors? Michaels and Walmart were your best options.

Hobby Lobby: If you’re considering shopping for Halloween goods at arts and crafts competitor, Hobby Lobby, just don’t do it. They don’t sell Halloween items, just fall decor.

Michaels: You can count on Michaels to have some decent Halloween decorations, but they were slacking in the coupon department during Halloween 2023. Michaels coupons just weren’t as abundant as Joann’s.

Walmart: We already knew that because of their already low prices, Walmart’s Halloween Shop was going to have less expensive options than Joann and Michaels. How less, you say? Let’s did a few comparisons (as of Oct. 2023):

Price Comparison

Walmart, Michaels and Joann each sold the same 16-inch Halloween wreaths, but Michaels’ sale price was a narrow winner followed by Walmart. However, Walmart’s regular price beat both stores.
