The Dunkin’ Halloween Menu Dropped — Five New Items (Prices Start at $1.79)

The 2024 Dunkin’ fall menu made its debut on Aug. 28. And PSL lovers celebrated the return of the Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Latte (heads up: it's cheaper than Starbucks' PSL!), pumpkin muffins, pumpkin donuts and Munchkins, and more fall-flavored treats. And now we've got a Halloween menu drop that runs from Oct. 16 through the end of the month.

Don’t expect too many Dunkin’ deals this season, though. The in-app offers for Dunkin’ Rewards members are becoming increasingly rare (and increasingly boring). While I used to see free coffee at Dunkin’ at least once per month, now I see a lot of bonus point offers and $0.59 off Refreshers. 

But you can still save money at Dunkin’ with Rewards app coupons, and you can get even bigger discounts when you combine a Rewards app offer with free flavors and inclusions.

New Halloween menu items arrived on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Three Halloween items — a Potion Macchiato, Spider Donut, and Munchkin Bucket — are available as of Oct. 16. My prediction for the Spider Donut price was $0.30 too low and my prediction for the Potion Macchiato was $0.20 too high. Here are the new items along with the confirmed prices.

• Spider Donut: Fan-fav classic but with a new purple color; $1.79

• Potion Macchiato: Espresso layered with flavors of purple, marshmallow ube and whole milk; $4.39

• Munchkin Bucket: Purchase the Dunkin' Halloween bucket with a 50-count Munchkins; $15.99 (or buy an empty one for $2)

The new Munchkin Buckets are the big seller.

Social media has been buzzing with people wanting to get their hands on one of the Halloween Munchkin buckets. On Oct. 16, along with the Halloween drinks, customers can get 50-count Munchkin donut holes in a limited-time Halloween bucket.

I was spot on with my prediction of the buckets being $15.99 — you can also buy an empty bucket for just $2.

The Dunkalatte, Pumpkin Spice, Almond Spice, and more arrived on Aug. 28 at Dunkin'. 

Alright, here’s the fall lineup as of Aug. 28. Dunkin' introduced the Dunkalatte, which is a Coffee Milk Iced Latte with espresso and Dunkin' coffee extract. You’ll also see the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte — no intro needed — and Almond Spice Latte, which is made with toasted almond flavor and almond milk. 

Plus, you’ll find seasonal foods like Loaded Hash Browns, Pumpkin Donuts, Pumpkin Muffins, and Apple Cider Donuts. Prices seemed to have stayed pretty consistent with last year, with no surprising increases to highlight.

How much does a Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Latte cost?

Here’s what you’ll see on the menu boards and what you can expect to pay for the new fall coffee drinks at Dunkin', including the Pumpkin Spice Latte. As predicted, I didn't see a huge price bump this year, since customers are tired of increasing coffee prices. I’m hoping the risk of losing customers means prices will stay the same throughout the end of the year.

Even at the $4.39 price point, the Dunkin' PSL is slightly more affordable than Starbucks. You'll pay $6.25 for a grande (16-ounce) hot Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks — or $0.39 per ounce. At Dunkin' a medium (14-ounce) hot PSL works out to $0.31 per ounce.

Where you'll get the biggest value difference is with the iced Pumpkin Spice Latte. With our predicted pricing, you'll pay $6.45 for 16-ounce iced PSL at Starbucks — $0.40 per ounce. At Dunkin' you'll get 24 ounces for $5.09, or just $0.21 per ounce. Just as I predicted, Dunkin' has the better price per ounce, because they always do.

Note that the predicted drink prices are for the medium size.

One of the best ways to spend less at Dunkin’ is to order a plain drink and then add flavors and inclusions to create something fancy for less. So if app rewards members have a deal for a $2 Iced Coffee, they can add the Pumpkin Spice flavor swirl, whole milk, and whipped cream for free* to get an Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte dupe for $1 less.
