The fan-favorite Dunkin’ Valentine’s Day Donuts are BACK! Brownie Batter and Cupid’s Choice return for another year on Jan. 29, 2025.

I love Dunkin’s Valentine’s Day donuts because they’re consistently the most affordable. They’re always a way better value than Krispy Kreme's Valentine's Day doughnuts. At $1.89, I'm talking $0.70 less per donut better.

The Dunkin' Winter menu dropped on Dec. 31 with a new $5 meal deal and a brand new Lava Cake flavor swirl for hot or iced coffees and lattes. These winter menu items are still available until the Dunkin’ Spring menu drops — likely in April.

Valentine’s Day Donuts returned on January 29, 2025 — you’ll pay $1.49 or $1.89 apiece.

Just as predicted, Dunkin’ brought back the Brownie Batter Donut and Cupid’s Choice again in 2025. But unlike last year, I did see a price increase. But it was expected. With the $1.89 price tag on the winter menu specialty donut — Whoopie Pie — I predicted a $1.89 price on the Brownie Batter this year too.

However, as expected, the Valentine's Day sprinkle donuts and Munchkins that return every year have the same $1.49 price. Which brings me to my next point ...

Dunkin' vs. Krispy Kreme Valentine's Day Donuts: Dunkin' is always a better value for specialty donuts.

If you're looking for other Valentine's Day treats, Krispy Kreme drops Valentine's Day doughnuts every year, but these babies are always pricey. The Krispy Kreme specialty doughnuts run around $2.59 each, meaning you pay $0.70 more per donut if you buy your specialty Valentine's Day donuts at Krispy Kreme instead of Dunkin’.

KCL Tip: If you want a festive Valentine's Day treat with zero upcharge, get the pink and red sprinkle Munchkins. They're the same price as regular Munchkins and at $1.49 for a 3-count, you're paying $1.10 less than a donut at Krispy Kreme.

The new menu with winter drinks and doughnuts (and deals) arrived on Tuesday, Dec. 31. They usually drop the new menu on the last Wednesday in December. But in 2024, since the last Wednesday was Christmas Day and New Year's Day 2025 fell on Wednesday, they opted for the last Tuesday in December to drop the menu instead.

The prices on the winter menu — especially the new Sabrina Carpenter Shakin' Espresso — are pretty high. Here are a couple ways to save on the new winter items.

If you order on the Dunkin' app, you can save $0.40 - $1.49 on the Sabrina's Brown Sugar Shakin' Espresso. It's regularly priced at $6.18, but you can order a plain Shakin' Espresso and customize it, paying just $4.99 or $5.78.

Here's how to save up to $1.19:

Add a Medium Shakin' Espresso to your order.
Scroll and substitute the whole milk for oatmilk (or you can keep the whole milk and save another $0.79).
Under "Sweetened Flavors," click to add three pumps of Brown Sugar syrup.
Add it to your order for $5.78.

*If you keep the whole milk (or skim), you'll pay just $4.99 — a $1.19 savings.

They've got a $5 meal deal that includes a medium hot or iced coffee and two Wake-Up Wraps. You'd regularly pay $9.97 for this meal, but at the new $5 price, you'll save 50%. This is even better than the savings we saw with the $6 meal deal back in August 2024.

With Dunkin’ Rewards, you’ll get 10 points for every $1 you spend. You can get free items once you reach 150 points. The more points you earn, the better your rewards get. For example, you can get a free coffee at 500 points ($50 spent), and a free cold brew or Dunkin’ Refresher when you spend 700 points ($70).

Dunkin’ Rewards isn’t the best loyalty program around, because of the amount you have to spend in order to get a freebie, but if you’re already addicted to Dunkin’, it’s worth signing up and taking the rewards as you earn them. You’re spending the money anyway, right?
