Whether it's on a sandwich or in a recipe, Hellmann’s Vegan Dressing & Spread really does taste just like Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise, so it's a great way to incorporate a healthier option without sacrificing flavor. Here are five ways we’ll be using it in our favorite recipes this #Veganuary, and especially during the NFL playoffs.

1. Eggplant & Zucchini Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil

  • 4 slices eggplant

  • 4 slices zucchini

  • 2 Tbsp. Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Vegan Dressing and Spread

  • 2 slices Sourdough bread

  • 2 slices tomato or a few halved cherry tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup baby arugula

Recipe:

  1. Brush grill pan with olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add eggplant and zucchini, sprinkling with dried herbs or smoked paprika if desired, and grill until tender. Remove.

  2. Wipe grill pan if needed. Brush both sides of bread with Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Vegan Dressing and Spread and grill until lightly toasted.

  3. Build sandwich with grilled vegetables, tomatoes and arugula. Serve with additional Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Vegan Dressing and Spread .

2. Vegan Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag (9 oz.) crispy vegan "chicken" tenders, cooked according to package directions, cooled and crumbled

  • 1/3 cup cayenne pepper sauce

  • 1 cup Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Vegan Dressing and Spread

  • 1 cup shredded vegan cheddar cheese alternative

  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped green onion (optional)

  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice

  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Recipe:

  1. Preheat oven 375°. Toss crumbled tenders with cayenne pepper sauce. Stir in remaining ingredients. Scrape into 1 1/2-quart shallow baking dish. Sprinkle, if desired with 1/4 cup crumbled vegan or regular bleu cheese.

  2. Bake 20 minutes or until bubbling. Serve, if desired, with celery and your favorite dippers.

3. Spicy Baja Dip

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium cloves garlic, unpeeled

  • 2 cups frozen, shelled edamame, cooked according to package directions

  • 1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves

  • 5 Tbsp. Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Vegan Dressing and Spread

  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper

  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin

Recipe:

  1. Put garlic in small microwave safe bowl. Cover and microwave at HIGH until tender, about 45 seconds. Let cool slightly then remove skins.

  2. Process garlic and remaining ingredients in food processor until smooth. Serve, if desired, with gluten-free crackers, corn chips and/or fresh vegetable sticks.

4. Crispy Tofu Bites with Spicy Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (16 oz.) firm tofu

  • 3/4 cup Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Vegan Dressing and Spread, divided

  • 1 tsp. soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup seasoned panko bread crumbs

  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

Recipe:

  1. Press tofu gently with paper towels to press out excess water. Let stand 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°. Coat rimmed baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray Cut tofu into 1-inch cubes.

  2. Mix 1/2 cup Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Vegan Carefully Crafted Dressing and Sandwich Spread with soy sauce. Toss tofu cubes with Dressing mixture. Dip into bread crumbs and arrange on prepared pan.

  3. Bake 30 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp.

  4. Mix cayenne with remaining 1/4 cup Dressing. Serve tofu bites hot from oven with spicy sauce.

5. Vegan Corn "Ribs"

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tbsp. Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Vegan Dressing and Spread, divided

  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder, divided

  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin

  • 4 ears corn-on-the-cob, husked, pointed ends trimmed

  • 1/4 cup vegan cheddar cheese alternative

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • Lime wedges for serving

Recipe:

  1. Combine 2 tbsp. Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Vegan Dressing and Spread, 1 tsp. chili powder and 1/2 tsp. cumin in cup. Set aside.

  2. Place corn on one flat end standing up on cutting board. Center a sharp knife on top of corn and using a rolling pin, hammer the knife through the core of the corn. Turn the 2 halves core sides down on cutting board. Center the knife in middle of corn and hammer with rolling pin to cut in half lengthwise.

  3. Brush corn with Vegan Dressing and Spread mixture. Grill 8 to 10 minutes, turning as needed until lightly charred and tender.

  4. Arrange corn on serving platter; sprinkle with "cheese" and cilantro, then drizzle with remaining 2 Tbsp. Vegan Dressing and Spread and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 tsp. chili powder. Serve with lime wedges.
