Remember lying on your bed and taking a deep breath to zip up your jeans? Self-consciously picking at your panty lines? Cutting the feet off your pantyhose?
I sure do. But now, I’m just addicted to Spanx!
You probably know that Spanx are pretty pricey. Simpler pieces start around $40, and more elaborate shapewear typically costs over $100.
But we know better than to pay full price, don’t we?!
Here are my top 10 resources for scoring Spanx without breaking the bank.
1. Shop RueLaLa for 40-75% off retail prices.
I find some of the best deals on expensive brands through RueLaLa. They sell lots of designer pieces, including Spanx underwear, shapewear, and clothing for anywhere from 40-75% off.
Just this month, I scored a pair of Spanx Essential Leggings marked down from $98 to $24.99! I’ve also seen Spanx-specific flash sales offering additional discounts.
2. Get Zulily alerts for up to 70%-off Spanx sales.
Zulily doesn’t stock Spanx as often as RueLaLa, but their sales are still totally worth it at up to 70% off! After signing in to Zulily (don’t worry, it’s a free account), search for Spanx in the top right-hand corner.
If they have some in stock, you’ll see the deals right away. If not, you can click “learn more” on the Spanx icon. This takes you to Zulily’s Spanx brand page where you can click the little heart to be notified next time they’re selling Spanx.
3. Use Belk to stack coupons on sales for up to 70% off.
Belk sells full-price and discount Spanx products with sale items marked as much as 50% off.
They also have this great coupons section for extra discounts. I added an extra 20%-off coupon to my purchase of 50%-off Spanx items for a total of 70% off retail!
4. Check out deals on Jet.com for up to 65% off.
Jet’s discount shopping site has a surprisingly awesome selection of Spanx. Some items are full price or barely discounted at 10% off, but I found lots of pieces for 50-65% off too!
5. Comb through Her Room for 15-60% off select styles.
Again, some of the pieces here are full price — just keep scrolling! Her Room is a great source for all things undergarments, and they often list select styles and colors for 15-60% off!
6. Shop the Spanx End of Season Sale for up to 65% off.
The Spanx website offers the best selection of styles and sizes. During their semi-annual End of Season sales, they mark down lots of their inventory by 25-50%.
TIP: Sign up for Spanx emails to receive special offers and first looks. New subscribers get a 15%-off coupon just for signing up, so stack that with an on-sale item (but not other coupons and offers) for up to 65% off!
7. Get 50% off at the Nordstrom anniversary sale.
Typically in July or August, the Nordstrom anniversary sale means Spanx (plus lots of other brands) are 50% off!

8. Scour Nordstrom Rack for year-round discounts on Spanx.
Shopping at Nordstrom Rack can take some serious persistence, but their prices are often unbeatable. I typically find Spanx for around 50% off, sometimes even more!
9. Follow Spanx on Facebook for discount codes and free shipping alerts.
Spanx alerts their followers to free shipping promos and occasionally posts discount codes. (I just saw one for an extra 30% off!)
They also hold a lot of sweepstakes for great prizes like a glamping retreat in upstate New York, a Caribbean resort getaway, and $500 worth of Spanx products.
(You can find many of the same offers on their Twitter and Instagram pages.)
10. Get 15% off favorite styles with Bare Necessities.
Bare Necessities mostly sells Spanx at full price, but a lot of the most popular styles are available for 15% off when you buy two.
This discount obviously isn’t as awesome as the others, but it could be a smart option if you’re having trouble finding your preferred style or size on sale.
Psst… Never tried Spanx before? Here’s what you need to know.
Sara Blakely started this glorious shapewear revolution in 2000, and Spanx just keeps on killing it. They sell a huge variety of flattering garments including bras, underwear, shorts, bodysuits, slips, tanks, leggings, and more!
I love that they now carry options for men, and literally every shape of woman!
The high quality and effectiveness of Spanx products set them apart from any other shapewear brand; but if you’re entirely new to shapewear, consider trying Assets from Target or Kohl’s.
They’re also a Sara Blakely product, but a bit cheaper and lower quality. If you get addicted to shapewear like me, I definitely recommend graduating to Spanx!
