I love dining in at Olive Garden, but the Olive Garden To-Go Menu has become one of my favorite dining options lately, since I can get all my favorite Olive Garden menu items for more than 40% off the original price.

I love saving money on the Olive Garden menu, but there are some special tips and tricks to save on Olive Garden to-go orders — including a permanent 5% discount on your order, which items you should get, and what the deal is with Olive Garden breadsticks for takeout. I’ll show you how to work it.

Save 50% on Olive Garden takeout meals with the Family Style Bundles.

Olive Garden is pushing their Family Style Bundles (they say serve 4-6 but the portions are ginormous, so I’d say serve six easily) for Olive Garden takeout, and it turns out this is a great deal. They include house salad and 12 breadsticks.

Here’s the math:

Family Style Lasagna: $44.99, or $7.67 per serving
Compare to single portion entree: $15.79 per serving
Save $8.12 per serving, or 51%
Family Style Fettuccine Alfredo: $44.49, or $7.42 per serving
Compare to single portion entree: $14.49 per serving
Save $7.07 per serving, or 49%
Family Style Chicken Alfredo: $61.49, or $10.25 per serving
Compare to single portion entree: $17.99 per serving
Save $7.74 per serving, or 43%

If you’re wondering which family meal deals are worth it, we’ve done all the math for you to help you decide.

Buy a discounted Olive Garden gift card using your Target RedCard to save 5%.

One of the best benefits to having a Target RedCard is having 5% off everything you purchase at Target including gift cards — including Olive Garden gift cards. This way, you can get a 5% discount on every order, including Olive Garden takeout orders.

Sign up for the Olive Garden eClub to get high-value coupons and a free birthday dessert.

Once you become an Olive Garden eClub member, you’ll be getting coupons like 10% off one entree or 15% off your entire order. They’ll even send you a dessert coupon worth up to $8.29 during your birthday month.

These coupons can be applied to your pickup order when you use the Olive Garden app or website.

There are lots more Olive Garden deals you’ll need to know before you can start eating more breadsticks.

You’ll only get 2 breadsticks per entree ordered with Olive Garden takeout.

Unlimited breadsticks are queen at Olive Garden, but you won’t be able to get them when you order Olive Garden take-out. Instead, you’ll be given 2 breadsticks per entree ordered.

Alternatively, you can order six more Olive Garden breadsticks for $4.29 or a dozen for $6.49. These can come baked or unbaked.

Olive Garden delivery is only available through DoorDash in certain areas.

Olive Garden delivery from third-party apps like Uber Eats and Grubhub straight-up doesn’t exist. Depending on your location, you can get delivery from DoorDash, but we haven’t seen anything lower than $5.99.

You can get delivery at certain locations through the Olive Garden website, but you’ll need to order at least $50 worth of food, and the delivery fee will be 10% of your order.

If you wanted to know how to get better delivery from third-party apps, we have all the best DoorDash hacks, Uber Eats hacks, and Grubhub hacks.

Get $5 Olive Garden meals to go every time you dine in.

You’ll have to dine in to get this deal, but one of the best Olive Garden deals is the $5 Take Home Entree. You’ll have your pick from Fettuccine Alfredo, Five Cheese Ziti al Forno, and Spaghetti with Meat Sauce for only $5 for you to take home for the next day, as long as you purchase an entree in the restaurant.

Unfortunately, you won’t get any breadsticks with this order.
