Dairy Queen has retired the Dairy Queen summer menu and has gone full fall by reintroducing their Pumpkin Pie Blizzard along with a new Caramel Java Chip flavor. And although BOGO Blizzards are gone for 2024, you'll be able to get two fall Blizzards for the price of one next year, starting in September 2025.
While we haven't seen the $0.85 Blizzard deal return this year, the BOGO free Blizzards works out to a 50% discount, which is a good Dairy Queen deal.
You'll see fall flavors on the menu likely through the end of October or until your local shop runs out of ingredients.

Dairy Queen is celebrating its fall menu with BOGO free blizzards for two weeks only.
Dairy Queen Rewards members get a one-time-use coupon in the DQ app to get BOGO free Blizzard treats. It's free to join their rewards program, and you'll get various deals throughout the month. If you sign up for DQ Rewards specifically for the BOGO Blizzard offer in 2025, be sure to sign up before the next promotion, because it can take up to 24 hours for deals to populate in the DQ app.
KCL predicts the next BOGO free Blizzards at Dairy Queen will be on Sept. 15, 2025.
Dairy Queen typically has this BOGO free deal in mid-September to coincide with their fall menu launch. Based on prior years, we expect the 2025 BOGO free event to begin on Sept. 15, 2025.
We haven't seen the $0.85 Blizzard deal — a promotion we last saw in September 2023 — at all in 2024.
The Dairy Queen fall menu includes exclusive fall-themed Blizzards starting at $4.
This year, the Dairy Queen fall menu includes exclusive Blizzards that you won’t be able to grab during any other season. We expect these Blizzards to be available for around two to three months or until supplies run out, depending on the Dairy Queen location.
Here are the Blizzards on the Dairy Queen fall menu:
NEW! Caramel Java Chip Blizzard
It's Back! Pumpkin Pie Blizzard
French Silk Pie Blizzard
Salted Caramel Truffle Blizzard
Oreo Fudge Brownie Blizzard
Reese's Pieces Cookie Dough Blizzard
Royal NY Cheesecake Blizzard
Fall menu Blizzard prices range from $4 to $6.
Blizzard prices have increased and range from $4 - $6. One of my favorite Dairy Queen hacks is to split a large DQ Blizzard between two people. So you can get the best value per ounce out of the BOGO deal by grabbing two large Blizzards.
Note that prices and participation vary by location, so you should double-check your local Dairy Queen for the most accurate information.
Here’s how the sizes stack up when it comes to price per ounce:
Mini 6 oz, $4.39 or $0.73 per ounce
Small 12 oz, $5.19 or $0.43 per ounce
Medium 16 oz, $5.79 or $0.36 per ounce
Large 21 oz, $6.19 or $0.29 per ounce
KCL TIP: The 21-ounce size splits into two 10.5-ounce portions with each person paying $3.10 — that’s over $1 less than you’d pay for a Mini Blizzard — and getting 4.5 extra ounces for free.
Use a discounted Dairy Queen gift card to get a discount on all your fall Blizzards.
Before you get your BOGO Blizzards (or any Blizzards, really) you should grab a discounted gift card from GCX. You can get up to an 8% discount on your Dairy Queen gift cards, which means getting an 8% discount on all your Dairy Queen purchases — including anything on the fall menu. Use a discounted gift card to pay for your Blizzards, and you'll save more than the 50% off with just the BOGO offer.
Join Dairy Queen Rewards to get the best coupons, plus earn food freebies.
Saving money on Dairy Queen Blizzards doesn't stop at BOGO offers. After becoming a Dairy Queen Rewards member, you’ll start earning 10 points for every $1 spent at Dairy Queen. Once you earn 150 points (or $15 spent), you can start redeeming food freebies through the app.
Plus, every Monday, Dairy Queen refreshes their coupons and deals on the app, which can get you BOGO Blizzards, $1 shakes, and more.
