Grocery Stores Closed on Easter Sunday
You shouldn’t have any trouble finding a larger chain grocery store like Albertsons open on Easter. Many of the larger grocery chains are open for regular hours on Easter Sunday. However, we found a few grocery stores closed on Easter. As always, hours may vary, so you’ll need to contact your nearby grocery to confirm specific holiday hours.

Restaurants Closed on Easter
Easter is one of the busiest days of the year for restaurants — outside of Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and New Year’s Eve.
Most fast-food and dine-in restaurants will be open for Easter, including chains like Applebee’s, Chili’s, Denny’s, IHOP, Olive Garden, and Red Lobster. With that said, you may find your location closed or open for limited hours. Smaller family-owned restaurants may also be closed for Easter.
